The Hudson Valley Food Waste Challenge
It is estimated that Americans throw out 30-40% of the food that is produced in this country. Cutting food waste in the Hudson Valley can benefit us socially, economically and environmentally. The Food Waste Challenge will be a fun way to build public awareness on the issues of food waste, help families save money, and cut down the amount of uneaten food we are sending to our landfills.

Making a Difference in the Hudson Valley
The Vision
Hudson Valley EATS started in 2016, and since that time we have highlighted local food entrepreneurs and restaurants owners, written stories on amazing food, farmers, the craft beverage industry, sustainability, and so much more.
Most recently we have focus our effort on making a difference and combating food insecurity. The public, chef's, national food companies and local business owners came together and we raise thousands of dollars to "Make Sure EVERYBODY in the Hudson Valley EATS", not just those who could afford to.
But the vision for Hudson Valley EATS goes beyond that, and it includes you!
THE VISION is to make Hudson Valley EATS an interactive website,
where people who love food, care about about the environment and helping
others contribute in building a resource that supports "everything food" in the Hudson Valley. A website that promotes the people and the good things they
are doing in the food space, and gives everybody an opportunity to enjoy, learn, and work together to create a bright and sustainable future.
A Community that Shares More
Than Just Their Love for Food
The "Re"-Freshed Hudson Valley EATS is going to keep
doing what we have been doing, but will also adding more
areas of "food" interests and a focus on sustainability.
